Frequently Asked Questions
HOW LONG IS THE AVERAGE CLIENT STAY?
The standard stay is 30-60 days in most cases. During this
time your primary focus will be participating in daily meetings
and 12-step recovery programs. Our clients will also meet
on an individual basis with a Medical Doctor and certified,
trained counselors.
HOW LONG DOES THE ACTUAL "DETOX"
PROCESS TAKE?
Keep in mind that the addiction is as unique as the client.
Typically, the actual process of detoxification can often
be achieved in between 7-10 days. However, this is only the
very "first step" of removing the active addict
from everyday use, and is hardly enough treatment to warrant
exiting the program at that time. In fact, many participants
will choose to stay for additional services (30-60 days) to
discover and to treat the more profound causes of abuse.
WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY MEAN BY "PAINLESS"
DETOX?
Your addiction is as unique as you are, as are the varying
degrees of severity of the detoxification process. In order
to alleviate as many symptoms as possible, our doctors prescribe
the best drugs available to address the discomfort that comes
with withdrawal symptoms. Drugs like Suboxone & Subutex,
the first medications to have been formulated precisely for
opiate addiction in nearly 30 years, are included.
CAN I USE MY CELULAR PHONE AND STAY
IN TOUCH WITH MY BUSINESS?
Here at Capo, we know and recognize that you want to keep
up with your responsibilities. We design your program to fit
your individual needs. As such, we are pleased to recommend
our remote offices (with fax, internet, and telephone access)
so you can maintain contact with family, friends, or business
associates.
CAN I LEAVE THE FACILITY OR TAKE DAYS
OFF DURING THE RECOVERY PROCESS?
Every client’s program is tailored for his/her needs.
Typically, "weekend passes" are a motivating factor
in your process.
